Headline Enhancements

TRANS-3047 - Administration App. Users. Changes to permissions logic. Several improvements have been implemented in support of user permission changes. Those with the role User can no longer create, modify or delete users with the role Admin. To support this, API keys are now generated at a user level, and used for authorization. The keys can be generated or re-generated in the Administration App’s User page. See Users for detail.

On upgrade, the existing API key is hashed, stored in the database and associated with the first enabled Admin user. This ensures that blackbox requests using the old API key will continue to work, however, if regenerated, the requests will need to be updated with the new value.

TRANS-2787 - Administration App. Expanded support for custom carriers. Improved the process for configuring and managing custom carriers in the Administration App’s Carriers tab. Custom carriers are now added using the Custom Carrier wizard. This is used to:
  • Manually configure custom carriers, including P44-based carriers.
  • Add a new carrier supported by ConnectShip.
  • Modify an existing custom carrier.

TRANS-3889 - Administration App. Added ability to manage Outputs and Reports. You can now maintain your Transtream outputs and reports using the Manage Outputs and Manage Reports tabs in the Administration App’s Outputs page. Files can be added, downloaded and updated. See Outputs for detail.

As part of this functionality, files are now stored in the database tables [OutputFiles] and [ActiveReports]. On upgrade, all output files and reports will be integrated into the tables.

TRANS-3755 		- Apps. Improvements to Bulk Lists and Favorites functionality. Several changes have been implemented in support of Bulk Lists and Favorites:
  • When saving a Favorite that includes a Bulk List, it is now saved as one entry. Previously, each shipment was saved as an individual Favorite.
  • The Favorites functionality has been added to the MailCenter App. See Favorites for detail.
  • Bulk List shipments can now be generated and processed in the MailCenter App. See Bulk Lists for detail.
  • Various errors have been corrected in both Bulk List and Favorites processing.
TRANS-3621 - Shipping Apps. Updated carrier selection during consolidated shipping. In the Shipping Apps’ Consolidation tab, the Carrier dropdown is now only populated with carrier services configured for the logged-in user.
TRANS-3938 - Deliv. PDF format now supported for labels. Carrier labels can now be generated in PDF and PDF Raw formats.
TRANS-3531 - Data Management. New entity. A new entity, Cost Center Chargeback, has been added to Transtream, available for export via the Data Management snippet. See Data Management for detail. Additionally, an error has been corrected in the Cost Center Chargeback report whereby data was retrieved from the wrong database table.

TRANS-3968 - PB Shipping API - USPS. Added error messages for unsupported billing types. Errors now present when rating and shipping with PB Shipping API - USPS if any billing option other than Sender is selected.
TRANS-3957 - FedEx Freight. Resolved billing options mappings. An issue has been resolved whereby the billing options Recipient and Consignee were not mapped correctly in requests when operating with FedEx Freight.
TRANS-3886 - Designer. Improvements to image functionality. Uploading and editing images in designer now works as expected.
TRANS-3884 - Designer. Enhanced tool display. The Snippets and Tools panels can now be collapsed or expanded to provide more flexibility when working within the design canvas. Additionally, improvements have been made to the snippet selection display, including the ability to filter snippets via a search box.
TRANS-3961 - Apps. Resolved error with billing codes containing extra spaces. Addressed an issue whereby billing codes containing empty spaces would cause errors when reading the value if operating in Internet Explorer 11.

SF18813 		Transtream Setup. Various improvements. Several enhancements and fixes have been applied to Transtream Setup:
  • When upgrading, a check is now performed to ensure the environment features .NET version 4.7.2. Note that the check is performed on all Transtream upgrades, even if .NET 4.7.2 was not required on release.
  • Added the Require Server Name Indication binding setting, used to allow multiple HTTPS certificates to be configured under one IP address. See Transtream Setup Reference for detail. Note that this applies to 2012 IIS 8.0 and above website bindings.
  • Added ability to edit SSL Certificate data.

There is a new Transtream Setup version 3.18.0.

TRANS-4158 		- Product Admin. Corrected SAML issues. Several improvements to the SAML authentication process have been implemented.
TRANS-3966 SF22170 Shipping Apps, MailCenter App. Enhanced rating with broker carriers. Corrected an error whereby the default rate group was used when rating with broker carriers in the MailCenter and Shipping Apps. Furthermore, when operating with P44, both the accountCode and carrierCode are now returned in the Carrier column where necessary. This enables you to easily differentiate between services from the same carrier in the Rate Shop results. Additionally, Rate Shop results in grid format now correctly display in Internet Explorer 11.
