Package Details
Package Details gives an overview of the package details of the selected shipment. It shows:
- The address used for shipping or billing, if different.
- Shipping details, such as tracking number, weight, shipping cost, and package status.
- The list of items the package contains - the Items in Package table.
- A run-down of costs implicated in the shipment, such as tax, service charge, carrier rate, etc. - the Charges tab.
- Detailed tracking history of the package - the Tracking History tab.
- Batch tracking records including package statuses generated via the Batch Tracking task.
- If configured, signature tracking - the Proof of Delivery tab.
Void a package
The Package Details component includes the VOID PACKAGE button. To void a single package, click the button, and confirm your action.
Note that some carriers don't support voiding. Confirm with the carrier that the shipment has been voided on their end.
In case of multi-pack shipments, by default, the Package Details component displays the first package. Use the Packages in Shipment table in the Shipment Details component to navigate between packages. See Shipment Details.
Voiding options are controlled by the
Enable Void App setting, configured in
Product Admin. It defaults to
True. See
All App Settings for detail.
Reprint outputs
You can re-print the label that was generated for the package by clicking the RE-PRINT LABEL button. This opens a new tab where you can
view the label before printing.
Signature tracking
If available, you can track signatures using the Proof of Delivery tab. Note that to operate with signature proof of delivery (SPOD), you need to configure the Proof of Delivery ouput for supported carriers (FedEx Ground Economy Web Services, FedEx Web Services and UPS API).
