About
UPS API allows for website integration of UPS shipping functionality. UPS® is a global carrier offering domestic and international single and multipack shipments. For more information, visit UPS API solution website. Alternatively, see the service guide.
Setup
Setup My System (onboarding wizard) is supported for this carrier, and it also has a dedicated Set up UPS API topic. However, the key detail for this carrier is:
- Requirements:
- UPS API Account Number
- Shipping Key
- Security Credentials Username and Password
- Setup stages (Administration App):
- Enable UPS API (Carriers page), and use the REQUEST SECURITY CREDENTIALS
button to provide the credentials supplied by UPS.
- Add the Account, including Shipping Key.
- Add Carrier Permissions.
- Set up Outputs.
- Optionally, customize an App to use the UPS Access Point Viewer to use with Hold shipments. see Setup UPS API.
