TRANS-917. Changed Address Book CSV file import header. Review TRANS-917 and its impact on your site. Changed the name of the header, UserID (integer), to UserName (string). Prior to CSV file import, make sure it is up to date with the recent changes.

Headline Enhancements

TRANS-791 - Office Apps. Support for Logistics Server. The Desktop and Mailroom Apps can now be used against Logistics Server. New versions of the Apps are available.
TRANS-852 - LabelMaster DGIS. Expanded support. LabelMaster DGIS now communicates with Logistics Server. LabelMaster DGIS carrier component 1.0.0.0 available. See Update Carrier Components and Set up LabelMaster DGIS. There is also a new version of the Administration App.
TRANS-917 SF15845 Address Book import optimization. Expanded address import feature to include:
  • Improved Address Book import popup content to include various CSV file format samples and structural overview. Note that these files are for informative purposes only, and you can't use them for import.
  • Improved Google contacts import. This feature requires a license entitlement per domain.
  • Added capability to import contacts from Dropbox. This feature requires a license entitlement per domain.
  • Removed case sensitivity of the CSV file headers and passable values, such as True, Y, Null, etc.
  • Improved error message on failed record import. Additionally, you can now print the error message.

TRANS-916 - Address Book optimization. Expanded Address Book functionality to include:
  1. Improved performance. The Address Book will now always communicate with the Logistics Server, regardless of the endpoint in use. All Shipment Server users, if all your contacts are in Shipment Server, ensure that you have run the Import Data from Shipment Server task in Transtream Setup.
  2. Expanded search:
    • You can now search against most contact fields available in the Address Book, such as Code, Company, Address Line 1-3, City, email, etc.
    • You can now perform advanced search.
  3. Improved UX. Field labels are now conststent across the Address Book.
  4. Revised access permissions. Added new property, ignoreUserAccessRights, editable via Composer Designer. If set to True, allows all users administrator-level access to the Address Book.
  5. Revised viewing permissions. All users can view any Global contact. Department and Location based contacts can be viewed by users of the relevant department/location. Personal Addressbook type is viewable by its owner only.
  6. Revised editing permissions. Administrators can edit any Global contact. Standard users can edit any Personal, Department or Location Addressbook type, provided they have permissions to view it.

TRANS-980 - Bulk List Management Snippet. Expanded Support. You can now control bulk lists from the Ship App and via Logistics Server. Note that processing a bulk list through the Ship App is still not supported. Use the Desktop App or Mailroom App instead.
TRANS-981 - Transtream Setup. Support for Bulk List Import. The Import Data from Shipment Server option now includes bulk list contacts. Because of this, a new Transtream Setup (2.9.0.0) is available on the Downloads page. See Import Data from Shipment Server for details on this option.
TRANS-924 - Ship App. Added Address Book to every address block. The Address Book can now be opened from all address blocks in the Ship App. This item is also listed under App Changes below.
TRANS-395 - Ship App. Added Ship From tab. The Ship App now includes the Ship From tab. This item is also listed under App Changes below.
TRANS-722 - Composer Designer. Improvements to: Scripting, Tab Container controls, handling of invalid snippets, and Save. Following review:
  • The Scripting area now includes:
    • A Search button to invoke the existing Ctrl F search on the current script.
    • A new Deep Search capability (and button) to search across all of the page's scripting.
    • When Scripting is on its own tab, the script no longer word wraps.
  • The UX for adding Tab Container controls has been improved.
  • When Composer Designer encounters an invalid snippet, it no longer attempts to load it (which could error).
  • Composer Designer now only prompts for Save when changes could be lost.

Other Changes

TRANS-716 - UPS API. Resolved weight issue with Time In Transit multi-packs. New versions of carrier component.
TRANS-720 - UPS API. Resolved issue with insurance calculation. Empty nodes are now considered to be zero. New versions of carrier component.
TRANS-718 - Fixed output suppression when caching is enabled. Subsequent transactions no longer collect the Suppress value from a previous transaction.
TRANS-719 - Fixed WorkstationIdentifier and Log Encoding. The log viewer now shows all logs as utf-8 encoded; all IP addresses are now base 64 encoded within the xml node (WorkstationIdentifier).
TRANS-731 - Errors now returned from failed Group Ship transactions. Failed transactions are now rolled back and a database error is returned. Additionally, the Content Codes table has been extended; if a blank Description value is provided, the product will use the value in the ItemDescription element.
