Add Carrier Components
As per patch
8.18.0 carrier components have been moved to the
Administration App. Carrier components are now automatically added.
You can add carrier components to an existing instance. For example, carriers that were not selected (or available) on initial install. For a list of all
supported carriers, see Carrier Components.
- In Transtream Setup, under the instance, click Carrier Components.
- In the Use column, select the carriers you want to add, and click Apply.
If you need an earlier version of a component, click Version
and select from those available. Transtream Setup will always default to the latest.
- On the Install menu, select Run Now.
In the Administration App, newly added carrier components may appear under Setup My System. Not every component supports Setup My System and manual setup is required. Carrier Components lists the setup options for every carrier and links to the content.
- You cannot use this to remove carriers. Use the Administration App to disable or hide carriers
you no longer require (the Enable and
Display in Carrier Selection Controls settings on each
carrier's Carrier Details tab).
- If you want to update your exsiting carrier components, in Transtream Setup, right-click the instance, select
Update Carrier Connectors to Latest, and run the install again. See
Update Carrier Components.
