Possible Breaking Changes

What has changed What to do
New App versions available. If you are using modified Apps, you must replicate your changes in the new version. See App Changes below for a summary of the items that have affected Apps in this release.
The import functionality present in Administration App version 1.24 and older, enabling import of Product data, Account Codes, Company Codes and Cost Centers into Transtream, has been superseded by the introduction of more flexible Data Management functionality. The import file structures are still valid with the updated feature, which requires Administration App 1.25 to operate.
Address Book import is not affected.
 Upgrade to Administration App 1.25 to access the new import and export functionality. See Data Import and Data Export for detail.

TRANS-2789 		- FedEx. Added new carrier components. Added new carrier components for FedEx:

To accommodate new carriers, the following Apps have been updated:

  • Administration App. The Data tab now allows for configuring Load Balanced Server Pools.
  • Warehouse App. Now enables the SHIP button for FedEx Freight only after the Recipient, Weight, Ship Before and Ship After fields have been populated.
If shipping multipacks, it is recommended to install any FSMS server other than version 17.01.169, which doesn't work with multipack shipping. This is a known issue, and FedEx is currently working to resolve it in their subsequent product versions.

TRANS-2628 		- Administration App. Support for data import and export.
  • Support for import and export of data in various file formats: CSV, txt and XML. As part of import, you can create new data, or update the existing one.
  • Custom data can now be mapped to the database.
  • Support for local or remote (Dropbox, SFTP) files destinations.
As imports are comma delimited, if you are importing data that includes commas, that data must be enclosed in quotes (""), otherwise the comma will be treated as a delimiter. E.g., "If it includes commas, quote the string".

To accommodate the new feature, the Administration App has been updated:

  • Added Data Import and Data Export tabs under Data.
  • Added task, Data Management to schedule imports from remote machines.
  • Added email template, Import/Export Result, to alert users of the outcome of the process.
  • Added snippet, Data Management, controlling the import and export wizard.

TRANS-3130 - TNT Express. Added new carrier components. Added new carrier components for TNT Express:
TRANS-2986 SF20618 Shipping Apps. MailCenter App. Improved Carrier service and Rate Shop display. The following changes have been made to improve carrier and service selection:
  • Added a new parameter, Filter Service List, to the Carrier Service snippet, supporting the values:
    • False. Displays services from all carriers. This is the default value and current behavior.
    • True. Only displays services for the selected carrier.

  • LoadComplete is now published only after Rate Shop is loaded completely. Previously, the snippet reported as complete when partially loaded, causing errors.

TRANS-3160 - Apps. Updated fields. The following fields now only accept numeric characters:
  • Warehouse, Desktop and MailCenter App: Weight, COD Value, Declared Value and Dimensions.
  • Deliv Same Day: Weight.
This corrects the issue whereby rates were calculated with an invalid weight value.
TRANS-3171 - PB Shipping API - USPS. Corrected issue with Automatic End of Day task. This task now runs successfully with the carrier.
TRANS-3207 - Apps. Improved tabbing sequence navigation. Improved tabbing order to ensure proper sequence is followed when navigating via the keyboard.
TRANS-3203 - Postal Meters. Fixed issue with Trip Meter value failing to reset. Fixed issue whereby the Trip Meter value would not reset if a user failed to click rate before selecting ship.
TRANS-3166 - MailCenter App, Administration App. UPS API Hold and requesting a shipping key now work as expected. These are now resolved.
TRANS-3143 - Administration App. Corrected issue with configuring Locations. The FINISH button now activates as expected when filling in the Organization field when adding Location.
TRANS-3170 - Administration App. Task Scheduler. Description field now editable. Task Scheduler’s Description field can now be edited, and is now saved to the database.
TRANS-3208 - Apps. Corrected handling of plus (+) characters. The plus (+) character is now encoded correctly and saves within the database as expected.
TRANS-3226 - Administration App. Corrected ID displayed if onboarding fails. User ID, not Internal ID, now displays when an onboarding transaction fails.
TRANS-3186 SF20418 DHL International API. Fixed Issue with Domestic Express Product Code. Rates are now calculated using the correct product code of “N” when shipping with DHL International API Domestic Express service.
TRANS-3173 SF20363 Transtream Login. Improved self-registration process. The following changes have been made to the self-registration process:
  • If self-registering with a Profile Token, certain fields, such as Location or Localization, are now automatically populated with token values (passed from the Administration App) during user registration.
  • A User account is no longer created, if the inputted password does not fulfil the security requirements.
  • Updated the password error message to contain more informative detail of the password requirements.
TRANS-3237 - Desktop, MailCenter App. RateShop filter now uses CheapestInTime when required date is set.
  • Bulk lists now choose the Cheapest-In-Time option when required shipping date is set.
  • The required shipping date is now loaded for bulk lists processed by the MailCenter App.

 		HubCapp Peripheral Agent. Resolved several issues.
  • Peripheral Agent's labels and documents settings now override local printer's options.
  • Configuration files no longer prevent Peripheral Agent from starting, and now opens with the default Printer, Documents and Labels values.
  • Usernames are no longer removed from Document and Printer Setup configuration files. Note that you need to exit the Peripheral Agent before editing any configuration files.
  • Configuring a Label configuration file no longer overwrites a Document one.
  • The Printer tab now includes the OPEN LOG button to log errors related to Printer, Documents and/or Labels.
  • Updated an error message triggered by insufficient Printer configuration.
TRANS-3239 - MailCenter App. Bulk lists. Resolved issue with transaction fails. Corrected an issue whereby bulk lists would not complete successfully if processing records with missing fields.
TRANS-3249 - Desktop App. RateShop. Corrected Saturday Delivery Rates. RateShop Results now returns rates for Saturday Delivery, even if not supported by the default carrier.
TRANS-3236 - UPS API. Carrier onboarding. UPS API accounts are now set up correctly in the Administration App.
TRANS-3238 - Apps. Corrected pagination error with manual entry. Page number controls now function as expected when a page number is manually entered. Previously, a blank listing would show.
TRANS-3191 - Carrier Activity report. Removed an incorrect text label.
TRANS-3240 - Task Scheduler. Corrected File Not Found error with Shipment Notifier task. The task now functions as expected.
TRANS-3275 - Task Scheduler. Corrected task duplication. Resolved an issue whereby scheduling multiple tasks for the same time occasionally caused task information to become duplicated/disordered.
TRANS-3210 - Task Scheduler. All tasks now correctly record history details. All tasks now correctly update the task history listing. Previously a number of tasks would not record the previous times they had run.
