Setup
Setup My System (onboarding wizard) is supported for this carrier, and it also has a dedicated Set up Cerasis topic. Alongside the general guidance given in Set up a carrier, the key detail for this carrier is:
- Requirements:
- Cerasis Account Number
- Shipping Key
- Security Credentials Username and Password
- Setup stages (Administration App):
- Enable Cerasis (Carriers page), and add Security Credentials (the Identifier field is your Security Credentials Username).
- Add the Account, including Shipping Key.
- Add Carrier Permissions.
- Set up Outputs.
Cerasis and the Import Data from Shipment Server option
If you are installing a Logistics Server instance that will use Cerasis and intend to use the Import Data from Shipment Server option, do so in this order: install Transtream and onboard the carriers you have (and require) in Shipment Server, then use Import Data from Shipment Server, and then add the Cerasis carrier component (see Add Carrier Components). This sequence is necessary because Cerasis is not currently available in Shipment Server.
