Possible Breaking Changes

What has changed What to do
Renamed Reference 5 and Reference 6 fields in the Desktop and Desktop Shipping Apps to align with the rest of the product. Reference 5 and Reference 6 fields will no longer be populated when loading pre-existing requisitions and favorites created in older versions of the Desktop App (prior to version 1.33) and Desktop Shipping App (prior to version 1.15).
New App versions available. If you are using modified Apps, you must replicate your changes in the new version. See App Changes below for a summary of the items that have affected Apps in this release.

Headline Enhancements

PROD-1765 - Apps. Added support for chargeback validation. Chargeback data (Cost Center, Company Code, Account Code) can now be configured as required fields when operating in Transtream Apps. Additionally, provided values can also be validated against rows in the database to ensure validity; incorrect data is flagged and must be updated for users to progress. This is controlled by the following new App Settings:
  • Cost Center Label
  • Account Code Label
  • Company Code Label
  • Cost Center Validation Level
  • Account Code Validation Level
  • Company Code Validation Level
  • Map Cost Center

The settings have been added for the Desktop, Desktop Shipping and MailCenter Apps. See App Settings for detail.

PROD-1701 - Administration App. Added ability to edit fixed list data. Certain lists, such as the Shipping App’s Units of Measurement, can now be edited to include or exclude list items. The following lists can be updated in the Reference Data page of the Administration App’s Data tab:
  • Number Range Types
  • Units of Measure
  • Apply To Types
  • Markup Types
  • Rate Application Types
  • Charge Types
  • FedEx Global Support Countries
  • Schedule D
  • Schedule K
  • Printer Models. This data is edited via a new Printer Models page added to the App’s Outputs tab.

When viewing the entities in the Administration App, an Enabled column indicates if the row is visible when the list is used. Note that list data for the above entities cannot be added or deleted.

Carrier Changes

PROD-696 - Custom Carriers. Special Services can now be configured. Special Services can now be set up for custom carriers via the wizard in the Administration App’s Carriers tab. See Custom Carriers for detail.

Other Changes

PROD-1892 - Onboarding API. Removed function. The Application Delete function has been removed from the API. Apps are managed through Product Admin. See Onboarding API for updated documentation.
PROD-1946 - Task Scheduler. Removed redundant parameters from tasks. The User and Account fields have been removed when configuring the Shipment Notifier and Broker Notifier tasks as this data is not required.
PROD-1919 SF26147 Personal Shipping. Corrected errors when handling DHL shipments. DHL shipments to France now function as expected when processed in the Personal Shipping App. Previously, shipments failed if the Display in Carrier Selection Controls option was disabled for DHL, configured when editing carriers in the Administration App.
PROD-1973 - EDI App. MailCenter App. Changes for consistency of time formats. The Ship After Time and Ship Before Time fields in the Apps are now in AM/PM format to align with the rest of the product.
PROD-1948 - UPS Mail Innovations. Resolved package ID errors. Operating with UPS Mail Innovations now functions as expected; previously errors regarding missing or invalid package IDs presented when shipping and rating.
PROD-1716 - Personal Shipping App. Corrected History display. The History tab in the Personal Shipping App now displays as expected, correcting errors whereby multiple records were not shown correctly.
PROD-1974 - Administration App. Updates to required user data. The Localization field is no longer required when adding users in the Administration App.
