Shipping process

Use the Desktop App to ship domestic and international parcels, and print the relevant labels and documents. All shipping activities are highly visible and accessible. You can track your shipment's progress, or verify the status of requisitions.

Scenarios

You can create a shipping requisition or process a shipment. These can be domestic or international. The Desktop App caters for these four shipping scenarios.

Once generated, a requisition can be then retrieved and processed by a mail center. This will typically be the MailCenter App that includes requisition lookup capabilities. Creating a requisition also generates a placeholder label that includes shipping detail and the tracking number for you to view and print, if required.

A correctly processed shipment generates the required documents and labels that you can view and print. The Desktop App cannot be used to process hazardous shipments. You can only process single or multipack standard or freight shipments.

When comparing scenarios, you'll notice that the key differentiator is selecting the correct starting option on the Welcome page, and then whether you enter an international address.
