About
Generic LTL module allows for recording less than truckload (LTL) shipments processed outside Transtream. LTL shipments are those which have an actual or billed weight of less than 20,000 lbs., and do not exceed 28 linear feet of a trailer. You can only import and use custom carriers created through the Add Carrier Utility available for Shipment Server products.
Setup
Alongside the general guidance given in Set up a carrier, the key detail for this carrier is:

- Setup Generic LTL using the Add Carrier Manually option of the Custom Carriers wizard, and select the LTL Carrier checkbox. See Custom Carriers for detail.
