Automatic End of Day task

The Automatic End of Day task performs an End of Day (EOD) operation on a given carrier account using a specific user name. Typically, schedule this to run daily for as many accounts as required (one task per account).

The task requires the following settings to be configured in the Administration App's Data tab, on the All Settings page:

  • End Of Day Transfer Block Size. The maximum number of bytes to read when processing EOD documents. Default is 4000000.
  • End Of Day World Ease Symbol. Allows to override the World Ease symbol. If left blank, this will use a default symbol (e.g. CONNECTSHIP_UPS_WORLD_EASE_MASTER_INVOICE.STANDARD for UPS Consolidated).
  • End Of Day Get AutoStart Interval (mins). Determines the minimum interval between days auto-closing can be performed. This value should always exceed the longest running end of day. Regardless if the auto-close is enabled or not, EndOfDayGet will add an EndOfDayActionRequest and return a standard EndOfDayGetResponse. Default is 120.

Use End of Day Failure Email Template to customize the email alert content.
