Use the Desktop Shipping App

Use the App to configure all necessary details for your requisitions or shipments, including international, domestic single or multipackage orders. The display alters dependant on the workflow loaded, but consists of the following components:

  • Address Details. Provide all necessary contact details, validate your address, enter third party billing information, or specify additional address details, such as Return Address, Ultimate Consignee, Importer of Record.
  • Package. Provide all necessary package-level details. Note that freight shipments are not supported.
  • History. View and action your processed shipments.
  • Package Manager. Add a new package, or delete or clone existing ones.

Dependant on additionally configured App settings, the App may also include:

  • Carrier Selection. Provide the carrier, service and package detail for your shipments.
  • Rate Groups. Select the most suitable rate for your shipment from a group of predefined carrier details.
  • Additional Tabs. Located in the central area of the App. If required, provide additional information, such as International, Returns and References detail.

The Desktop Shipping App must be loaded with a valid workflow (Ship a Package, Create a Requisition, Rate and Create a Requsition). If not, a warning presents upon opening allowing users to select from enabled workflows. The availability of workflows is controlled by App Settings, configured in Product Admin.
