Returns

Access to the Returns tab is controlled by the Show Returns Tab App setting, configured in Product Admin. It is disabled by default. See All App Settings for detail.

Use the Returns tab to set up return shipment options. Use it to:

  • Specify the Return Type: standard, email, attempt, etc.
  • Specify an alternative return adress.
  • Select an option allowing for processing return with shipment.
  • Provide detailed pickup instructions.
  • Select a Custom Return Reason or provide a free-form text Custom Return Description.

When enabled, the Associate With Return checkbox sets an international shipment customs options to show the shipment is a replacement for a returned item. Populate the Associated Tracking Number and Associated Shipment Ship Date fields to link the return shipment to the original transaction. Note that this option is only supported by FedEx.
